Ive worked at Hooters, The wings are tiny when we get them, tiny when there cooked, and super tiny when there tossed in sauce. The best sauce IMHO is a mik of daytona sauce and spicy garlic. If i didnt work there i wouldent go back.

I went to Ale Gators to watch the fight which seems like such a mess, they waitress was cleaning up a mess from the night before and it was very dirty inside. They advertise come and watch the fight and most of their tvs didn't even work. There was only one server for the entire place. We had to move to sit at a table in the middle of a dance floor to watch the fight which seemed a little odd since there was only about ten people there to begin with but once the fight start more came in to sit at tables in the middle of the room due to tvs not working. Food was fair most was cold and very greasy. The owner seemed to just want to visit with all the young crowd then manage the place. During the last round of the fight a dj turned on a the music so loud you couldn't hear the fight which made me very angry since I had been there a long time waiting on the fight and then sitting though almost the whole fight and they at the end wasn't even able to hear ourselves talk. Pretty sad. I wouldn't give this place a rating at all and I never knew you could smoke in a place that serves food.

You need to 1. work longer, 2. find a higher paying job, or 3. Get to college and do NOT post you phone number on the internet.

Also, there is no ad in the paper, you are hallucinating. Get off the drugs.

I just read your reviews and have to chuckle at your pin-point accuracy. I recently bought the place last summer and made it a focus to prevent the need for "post visit showering". We still are a dimly lit hole in the wall but have NOT changed any of the wing recipe's. You should try the LAVA wings ... the flavor is amazing!

Thanks for noticing,

Kevin

By the way ... FREE wings for Monday Night Football starting at 9:00. Let me know if you guys want to come out.

The kitchen manager Chris did not know at first what I wanted so he came to my table and I told him how to do this. They came out great. Thank you Chris... I'v been in the restruant business for 10years. Work for Beef O Bradys for awhile know alot about wings. If you are looking for a good cook give me a ring.
The place was ok and the staff was friendly. You can smell all the smoke in your restrauant real bad but the food is good. My Wife and I will be back.

I ate at the salem,s on Fletcher Ave and ordered 2 Gyro,s thru drive thru at around 6:00pm on June 18 2008, this was located in Tampa Fl, I was not pleased at all when we got the food home it had a horrible taste to it. This really suprised me because we eat there alot. I ended up throwing it away and had to go to another fast food place, I feel that something should be done about this!!!! My e-mail is flirtnfind@yahoo.com and my #813-770-4308

Art,
Thanks for the godd comments. We just enhanced our wing section to include breaded vs naked and a bunch more sauces. We did not go crazy in the beginning about the wings because we wanted to keep it simple. We make all of our sauces homemade.Let me know when u come back. Steve (Owner)

If you have the cojones.......You should review Liquid Larry's on Main and Combee. I hear that thay have good wings, the atmosphere might leave a little to be desired, but it is Polk county (bring yer sister).

OK I have seen plenty of reviews on wings and being from Buffalo and my first wing came from Frank & Theresa's Anchor Bar on Main Street in Buffalo way back in the 70's and have eaten them since, I feel I'm somewhat of an expert on "Buffalo Wings". With that said, I'll tell you this, since I moved to Florida in 1982, until last week, I said there is no such thing as a "Buffalo Wing" in Florida. I tried them all just about everywhere around the state that tried to claim braggin rights on the Real Wing! Decisions I would rsate a 2 out of a 5. Hooters and Winghouse at a .5. I was a Champs lover who came close and I would rate them at a 3.5. My new hangout on Monday nights is now Ale Gators who I would rate at a 4 +, the highest I have rated anywhere. They were the largest wing I ever had, although the sauce is about in the 3 rage of Anchor Bar's. All of what you said about the service and interior is great. My turn off and my co-workers will not go there because of what I saw when I walked in. Biker parking for what ;looked like the Hells Angels with 7 people tatooed large enougg to play in the NFL, only the NFL doesn't allow leathers with patches everywhere. Nothing against bikers as I prefer to drive a Honda Goldwing fo rtouring, but come on. So to get the good wings I have to go alone which is a bummer. My wife won't even go there with me because of a few stories she heard. So Champs it is if I plan to have company, but Ale's has it goin on with the wings. To them, get rid of the catering to bikers. They sip on bear all night, rarely eat or spend money on food. Pool tables, that invites trouble. Do a remake on the patrons you cater to and the real money will come, from those who will spend it on the right food and atmosphere. My compliments to Gators on the wings, you are on to something!
