Today we went to Decisions Sports Bar. It seems like Decisions is an early leader for “Wing of the Year” - I’ll let the reviewers speak for themselves:
“Decisions was excellent. I had 10 hot wings plus seasoned curly fries and sweet tea (which comes recommended). The wings are lightly breaded, fried to just crispy, not greasy. Great service and good value. The hot wings were not all that spicy. I could have stood some more heat, or perhaps another degree of heat i.e. extra hot. It’s not a fast eat which leaves time for billiards, darts, or TV. Considering it’s a bar, it was really quite comfortable and quiet for lunch. As far as our Wingsday.com adventure goes, Decisions is my new favorite so far. I’ll definitely be back for more.”

“The Decisions mild wings were excellent! Cooked just right, crispy breading, tender meat that wasn’t greasy, and they weren’t drowning in a puddle of sauce. I could ask for no more. This is the way wings should be.”

“The wings I ate at Decisions restaurant this afternoon have definitely caused me to make a decision of my own. And that decision is; they are fantastiche!!! The service was great, the wait staff was attentive and a little precocious, the ambience unparalleled, the pepsi and ice danced on my pallet like a drunken ballerina!! I could ask for nothing more, except to see if they could somehow grind the wings into a powder or liquid so I could sprinkle some in everything I eat forever more.”

“I’ve been to Decisions several times in the past and they have always had very good wings. Today was no exception the wings along with the cheese fries were excellent. I had 10 wings half medium and half hot and it was nice that I could order them that way but I think they charged me extra for it (that sucks). The wings were a medium large and fried to a good consistency with breading and a sweet/mild to medium buffalo sauce. It’s almost like each stage (mild/medium/hot) was a stage below what it was actually called (I.E. medium tasted mild and the hot tasted medium). It was a pricey for lunch with a bill that came out to almost $14 before tip.”
“While we waited on the food to come out we had the option of playing billiards, darts, or watching TV which allowed us to catch up on “Myth Busters” and a little “How it’s made”. These were good activities to have in place as it took a little over 25 minutes for our food arrive (There is a note in the menu that indicates it takes 20 minutes cooking time when you order wings). To summarize Decisions has one of the best wings I’ve eaten, a relaxed atmosphere, and great service. Although I’m pretty sure the waitress was the only person there since no else had the ability to pick up the phone. In the end it was good enough to prompt talks about just going to Decisions every week and forgoing any other restaurants.”

Again, I have nothing to add, other than Decisions is winning. Big time. And to mention the sweet tea again. Really good. BTW, We sampled hot, mild, medium and cajun garlic. But it’s also important (I think) to note that Decisions sells raspberry wings. I know! I don’t have a clue. But the good folks here at Wingsday will commit to find out for you . . .
